Membership Categories

There are five categories of membership:

1. Professional Association
2. Education
3. Non-Governmental Organization (technical society)
4. Corporate
5. Governmental Institution

A recommendation was made at the last Board meeting ( 1998 July 1) to implement another catagory of membership - Individual . This is being reviewed and should be implemented by Jan 1999.

The WFTO Board granted ‘Founding Member’ status to all who joined before December 31, 1996.
